Established in 1992, our client is a registered Specialist Nursing Agency who provide healthcare staff to public and private clients in the health sector.
There are now several vacancies across th! e U.K in Birmingham, Leeds, Darlington, Kenilworth, Bedford, Bristol and Leicester for Care Co-ordinators to co-ordinate and manage the temporary care workers. You will be required to ensure that the provision of practical assistance and personal care services to the customers living in the community runs smoothly at all times.
The role will involve assisting the Branch Manager with all aspects of care management whilst providing the highest standards of care at all times. You must have the experience and ability to undertake risk assessments and produce care plans, prior to the commencement of the service or within 48 hours in emergency circumstances.
You will be required to assist in the recruitment of care workers to ensure there is a significant pool of candidates and to supervise and support all of these candidates through motivation, development and personal development feedback.
It is the responsibility of the Care Co-ordinator to ensure that the requirem! ents for compliance with the Data Protection legislation are m! et and also to ensure that accurate records for care workers and clients are maintained using both computer and manual systems.
The ideal candidate must have the ability to demonstrate numeracy at GCSE grade C level. You will be articulate with good reporting skills with a strong ability to develop and maintain relationships. It is essential that you have a clear understanding of issues surrounding confidentiality whilst displaying good, sound common sense.
You must be smart and professional at all times whilst also being confident, reliable and dependable. Ideally you will have previous experience within the care profession as a care worker.
