The Faculty of Health and Social Sciences (HSS) is central to this vision, working closely with practice partners to prepare and develop health care and social work professionals to provide high quality care.

The Faculty of Health and Social Sciences at Bournemouth University is seeking to appoint a Nursing Clinical Skills Demonstrator to join the team of demonstrators in the Department of Nursing and Clinical Sciences.

Whilst the substantial posts are related to teaching clinical skills on nursing programmes, the post holders will be required to contribute where relevant to courses across the Faculty. As part of an integrated and supportive team, Clinical Demonstrators work flexibly to develop and maintain quality assurance and safety in the practice simulation suite.

We are looking for a NMC Registered Nurse with one year’s post-registration experience. Your recent clinical practice and experience of working with nursing students is essential. An organised approach and effective oral/written communication and IT skills are also necessary whilst a teaching qualification (such as mentorship) would be desirable.

This post is available part-time for 0.4 FTE.
