It will be a private hospital, treating patients in a range of specialties supported by diagnostic services.

Circle has seen increasing interest from self-paying patients across our hospitals, and the newest addition to our group will offer self-funding packages alongside insured patients. We want to work with the very best consultants in the region to establish the hospital as a centre of excellence, offering great care in brand new facilities .

The construction of circle Birmingham is now underway and the intention is to have the hospital open in Spring 2019.

Job summary

The overall project is led by the Programme Director, Director of Mobilisation. The junior Project manager role is a key role and will support the PD and take responsibility for much of the coordination and administration of project work streams, project plans and progress monitoring across all work streams. There will be opportunity for the successful individual to expand their portfolio depending upon skills, experience and performance.Initially we are looking for someone with skills and experience in project administration within an operational and/or construction environment.

This role would be for a secondment opportunity for 12 months.

Principle responsibilities

In supporting the overall programme and Project Director the PM will be responsible for supporting the project director in:

The development of project plans using software such as Microsoft Project Office, Excel
Development, maintenance and policing of Programme/Project policies and processes.
Driving alignment of project deliverables/outputs through the appropriate leads, to realise the business requirements/outcomes.
Help to facilitate flexible and reliable information flow between the business and the project office /environment.
Instigate and manage project/resource/benefit planning across inter-related projects competing for resources (people and budget).
Support key Executives and manage expectations against key project actions / issues.
Proactive project monitoring of: costs; resources; dependencies; deliverables and risk & issues
Progress reporting on each of the programmes that are running at any one time. This would include: baseline & milestone progress; critical risk items; cost; key resources; schedule lifetime; controls.
Co-ordination of the development of a risk management log for each of the projects / programmes.
Co-ordination of the recording of KPI’s and RAG.
Ensure that all governance reporting and action trackers are in place and reported on an exception basis.
Co-ordinate the monitoring of project/ process/policy management.
Co-ordinate and provide clarity re for implementation of change projects within sites. This will include all work streams such as financial, legal and technical as well as clinical activities of the project.
Ensure the project is delivered in line with best practice and complies with audit standards
Responsible for the production of Project Plans
