Job overview: The Health and Applied Sciences Faculty within UWE are seeking to appoint Lecturer/Senior Lecturers to contribute to ! the delivery of the existing pre and post qualifying Nursing a! nd Midwifery programmes. The main duties are:
Focussing on teaching and supporting students on adult pre-registration and post-registration nursing programmes Being a Module Leader To offer advice and support to students on theory and practice modules Personal tutor role
Key selection criteria:
You will have:
Registered and be practising as an Adult Nurse on Part 1 (Nursing) of the Nursing and Midwifery Council's (NMC) Professional Register
A Post Graduate Certificate/Diploma or Master's degree in nursing or a health or education related subject, or currently studying towards one
A recognised NMC Nursing teacher's qualification, or be willing to study for one
Experience of teaching in Higher/Further/Continuing Education/Clinical Practice
Experience of mentoring adult nursing students
Ability to travel
