JustNursing are recruiting for nurses that have experience in clinical research in some capacity to work in Cardiovascular Trials Unit to the end of the year.
We require a nurse to work two days a week, one of them preferably a Thursday. The nurse will be a key member of a service providing specialist research and clinical care for participants undergoing investigations in the Cardiovascular Trials Unit (CVTU) for the Hypertriglyceridaemia: cause and effects research protocol APOB2012. Suspect patients from lipid and liver clinics of the Central Manchester Foundation Trust will be screened to identify patients with LAL deficiency. The intenti! on is that any identified patients can be considered for refer! ral to the ARISE study research sites.
The post holder will liaise with clinical investigators and sponsor companies to manage the trial protocol, and ensure that data collected is to the highest standards, with a commitment to participant safety and welfare. The post holder will have a key role in providing and maintaining appropriate participant-focused environment within the CVTU setting. In conjunction with the research team the post holder will facilitate the production of good quality research.
