East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust provides a range of health care services primarily for the people of East Lancashire, which comprises of the Boroughs of Blackburn, Burnley, Hyndburn, Pendle, and Ribble Valley. Our Trust aims to provide appropriate, high-quality personal and organisational development interventions, which will improve patient care.

The Community Lower Limb Vascular Team is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to provide comprehensive Administration and Clerical support to our tea! m. We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable person who ! has an excellent work ethic and is able to work efficiently to enable the service to run effectively.

In this fundamental role you will assume responsibility for varied secretarial duties supporting the team. The role will include speaking to patients and relatives, both in person and by phone, therefore the applicant must be an excellent communicator and be able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills and work in a confidential and sensitive manner.

Applicants, preferably with experience, must possess impressive organisational and administrative skills with relevant IT experience. The role of a clerical support officer can be a demanding one, which requires applicants to work well under pressure and to manage a multitude of tasks.

If you enjoy working in a busy, lively environment and like working with people across a variety of community settings we would like to hear from you. It is essential you have GCSE English Language and Maths grade C or! above. It is also essential you have expert organisational and time-management skills and have the ability to work unsupervised and under pressure to meet deadlines. You should be friendly and approachable and be a flexible and effective team player. As some travelling may be required you should be a car driver with access to a vehicle for work purposes.
