This purpose built nursing home has 60 beds and caters for general, medical, the elderly and mentally ! frail. Superior nursing care is provided 24 hours a day, with ongoing staff training to maintain a service of excellence.
They are currently recruiting for Staff Nurse to deliver exceptional levels of clinical, person led care across the home
The hourly rate will be £11.60 with weekend and B/H enhancements, shift pattern is 8 or 12 hours
Main Purpose of the Job:
To ensure that the provision of nursing and care is of the highest possible standard for all Clients.
To assume responsibility for the running of the Unit/Floor in the absence of the Unit Manager/Senior Nurse
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
To assist the Unit Manager/Senior Nurse in the day to day operation of the Unit/Floor, ensuring compliance with Company Policies & Procedures at all times.
To ensure that the Unit/Floor complies with the requirements and standards of the Care Quality Commission and terms of the Certificate of Registration. !
To ensure that own nursing duties comply with the professi! onal standards laid down in the current Nursing & Midwifery Council â€" Code of Conduct.
Ensure that the highest standards of care are provided for all Clients and comply with all the requirements of individual care plans.
Ensure that an appropriate social/therapeutic environment is maintained, which meets the needs of individual Clients, based on the philosophy of Person Centred Care.
To assist in the implementation and development of new strategies which enhance the standard and delivery of care.
You will be RGN qualified, with an active NMC pin. Newly qualified nurses will be considered
