A unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Paediatric Staff Nurse with Outpatients experience to join a fast-paced service fo! r children at a leading private hospital.
My client is looking for a dedicated nurse that will be able to work autonomously as well as part of a team, and provide first class nursing care to the patients.
The hospital is internationally renowned for clinical excellence, and the successful candidate will be working within an excellent and dynamic team.
General Responsibilities:
- Collating statistics and assisting the Sister with reports staff appraisals and staff development
- Assist with minor procedures as well as provide advice and information to parents
- Regularly administer nebulizers and breath tests
- Carry out a range of key administrative tasks, including pathology ordering and appointment booking
- Maintaining a positive environment for the benefit of your colleagues and the children alike
- RCN registered with the NMC
- Mentorship course
- Expe! rience of an Outpatients environment
- Strong communica! tor, with an excellent phone manner and the ability to instill confidence in the patients, their families and colleagues alike
- Flexibility about shifts is a must
- Ability to speak another language is desired
