For complete informations about this occupation opportunity kindly read the description below. Our client has a job vacancy for a Substance Misuse Nurse to work in Berkshire. This is a full time position with an initial 3 month contract and ! the pay rate for this role is £20-25 per hour (limited company worker).
Duties â€"
- Undertaking assessments, assessing prescribing needs and agree and review recovery plans. The post holder will be responsible for communicating treatment/recovery plans to the service user, carer and relevant professionals.
- Providing pre and post test discussion for HIV, Hepatitis B and C ensuring clients has the information to make informed decisions.
- Providing a safe and competent phlebotomy service for clients with poor venous access.
- Interpreting accurately virology results and other relevant tests.
- Providing safe vaccination for Hepatitis B and A.
- Providing Independent prescribing for service users in line with a Recovery Plan.
- Ensuring that clients receive regular medical reviews in line with their Recovery Plan, at least monthly.
All applicants must be a Qualified Nurse and have! at least 2 years recent experience working as a Substance Mis! use CPN.
