Role:
Reporting directly to the Managing Director and Consultants, you will become a leading, proactive member of the nursing team, offering advice to the consultants in support of their practice, and the management team in the maintenance of the highest possible governance standards

Qualifications, required attributes and experience:

• Fully qualified trained nurse with extensive experience within fertility or gynaecology
• Conversant with ! the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA) Code o! f Practice and other regulatory bodies policies and quality standards
• Strong organizational skills, and able to communicate effectively at all levels
• Able to analyse problems and take initiative in problem-solving
• Able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team providing support to patients and colleagues across all functions and roles
• Able to perform transvaginal and transbadominal ultrasound scans
• Willingness to learn new clinical and management skills

Responsibilities and objectives:

• Assist with the day-to-day smooth management of clinical activities, ensuring appropriate guided professional input to patient's care
• Support the multidisciplinary team to provide fertility and satellite assisted conception services in the available clinical sites across the North West
• Liaise with other specialists and healthcare practitioners
• Assist with the continuing development of evid! ence-based clinical protocols
• Ensure appropriate development and implementation of patient's pathways
• Be part of a weekly on-call rota (1:3) to answer patient's queries over the telephone
