Jim Gleeson is currently recruiting for a permanent Associate Director, Study Managem! ent, Oncology for a successful and expanding international pharmaceutical company, to be based at their Home Counties offices.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Associate Director, Study Management, Oncology you will lead global and local clinical studies carried out in conjunction CROs and other third party vendors. You will be responsible for operational strategy and delivery of these studies as well as line management of a number of Clinical Study Managers.

Specific duties will include:

• Leading the development of clinical study plans and study budgets
• CRO selection and review of feasibility assessments
• Lead site selection and qualification in conjunction with the study team and CRO
• CRO management to ensure studies proceed within timelines and budget and to the highest quality standards
• Management of direct reports, including direction of daily activities, performance evaluation and coaching
QUALIFICATIONS

As the Associate Director, Study Ma! nagement, Oncology, you will require the following:

• BSc in life sciences or Nursing degree
• Extensive experience of global clinical study management, preferably with a CRA background
• Experience of CRO management and the ability to build strong relationships with external vendors
