Primary Responsibilities
- To support the medical devices team in the production of audit proposals, planning of audits and answering of technical queries to ensure KPIâs on turnaround of documentation and financial targets both globally and in the UK are met. ⢠To support affiliates in their medical devices activities to ensure future growth of medical device certification worldwide.

Specific responsibilities
- To review medical device questionnaires and prepare proposals and PWS (Proposal Worksheets) promptly to avoid customer delays. ⢠To assist in the planning of audits, ensuring appropriate allocation of audit resources to ensure auditor time is fully utilised. ⢠Answer queries from affiliates and clients in a timely manner, ensuring a prompt and efficient service. ⢠Update the Certnet system to ensure the database is accurate. ⢠Assist in other administrative tasks related to medical devices certifications. ⢠At all times, adopt a safe behaviour by exercising due regard for the health and safety of yourself, colleagues and clients, in line with the Companyâs policies and procedures. ⢠Ensure full compliance with the Companyâs Code of Integrity & Professional Conduct, and at all times adopt behaviour in accordance with Clients UKâs Equality & Diversity policy.
Experience Essential ⢠Significant technical experience ⢠Significant office or administrative experience Desirable ⢠Experience of quality management or quality systems ⢠Experience within an area of medical devices or medical procedures ⢠Experience of translating technical information into a cost estimate or similar Qualifications
Essential ⢠A tertiary technical qualification relevant to medical devices â" e.g. electronics, nursing, biology, pharmacy, materials. ⢠Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent Desirable ⢠Quality training â" Internal audit training, knowledge of the medical devices directive and ISO13485
Skills
- Able to demonstrate attention to detail ⢠Able to understand new technical issues relating to medical devices quickly ⢠Able to work under pressure ⢠Computer literate with experience of databases and spreadsheets ⢠Highly literate Desirable ⢠Ability to speak/read a foreign language
