We are currently working in partnership with many Care providers in and around the Portsmouth area. As a result we are looking for flexible Care and Support Workers to fulfil our clients requirements.
Care and Support Workers will be assisting elderly residents with all aspects of personal care including bathing, washing, dressing and feeding as well as being able to identify the needs of the patients' and responding in a supportive and friendly manner. You will be working as part of a team of Care Workers so good communication skills and team work are essential.
Successful candidates will need to have NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent and an up-to-date training in Manual Handling, First Aid and Health and Safety. The post is subject to satisfactory referencing procedure and an Enhanced CRB Check. All applicants must have previous experience of working in a residential or nursing homes for the elderly.
