About the Role
We currently have an exciting vacancy for the role of Childcare Worker at Sanyu Daycare to support the ongoing success of the nursery. As a Childcare Worker you will ensure the quality of early education and care for children and families that access the nursery is maintained by providing high quality learning opportunities combined with care. The role will involve working with children and their families from an increasingly diverse community to ensure all needs are met in a welcoming environment. The role involves working directly with children and families as part of an experienced team, working with other professionals from outside the nursery and keeping records up to date. You will be a key person for a group of children to enable them to reach their potential through positive relationships and experiences.

About you
You will have experience of working in an early years setting. You must hold a minimum level 3 relevant early years qualification. You will have a good working knowledge of the EYFS and be able to put the principles into practice across the early years. You will have knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice that is applied in your work with children and families. You will be able to form positive relationships with children and families. You will be committed to ongoing professional development to ensure that the needs of children and families are met in an ever-evolving high quality setting. You will be a team player who values and respects the contributions of others. You will be a good communicator and passionate about working with children.

Additional Information
An enhanced DBS check with children/adults barred list check will be required.
The roles are fixed term contracts working 36.25 hours per week over 5 days between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm Monday to Friday.
