Roles and Responsibilities
Focus areas for this internship will be to assist in fact and information gathering, analyzing and on this basis developing initiatives mainly in the fields of
security training
workplace violence,
active threats & risk management
site security operations,
travel security advisory / systems,
structure and workflows of a new Regional Operations Centers
Basic Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program at an accredited university focused on criminal justice, political science, international relations, police science, criminology, information science/technology, security and risk analysis, or other relevant majors
Very strong English skills (written and verbal fluency)
Able to plan and prioritize multiple tasks and resources and have process-oriented mindset.
Must commit to working 20 hours/week during the internship
Eligibility Requirements
Work in the Budapest GEHC office
Legal authorization to work in Hungary required
Desired Characteristics
A strong commitment to a career in security and risk analysis, international relations, and a passion/aptitude for analytics, security systems, and investigations
Highly proactive, takes prompt action to accomplish assignments and objectives
Ability to work in both a team environment and individually
Creative problem-solving skills
Ability to work with MS Office programs such as Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
