We are looking for a " Procurement Officer" to manage the purchasing activities of the Procurement Department and ensure that purchased items are both cost-effective and of high quality.
(Candidates only from electrical engineering firms having 2–3 years of experience dealing with technical procurement of electrical items will be contacted for further process.)
Brief Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to;
- Must have practical exposure & experience of mega electrical projects.
- To understand the requirements of Purchase.
- To select the right supplier with respect to the Product mentioned in the PR.
- To send RFQs to various vendors with respect to the required Product.
- To be able to make quotation analysis.
- To negotiate prices with various vendors.
- To place the Purchase Order with the right vendor.
- To coordinate between Supplier and Finance for Payment Execution.
- To maintain the vendors' list.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Ability to understand ERP functions.
- Good knowledge about Supply Chain Cycle
- Strong Negotiation and Planning Skills
- Be able to maintain Professional relationships with Vendors
- Be able to introduce new sourcing channels
- Multitasking and can handle pressure.
Qualification:
- Minimum Graduate (B.E/ B.Tech - Electrical/Mechanical/ Industrial)
- Degree or Certification in Supply Chain Management
Experience:
- 3 to 4 years of relevant experience ( Procurement of Electrical items is a must)
- Must have experience in project-based procurement.
- Must have experience in Switchgear manufacturing procurement.
- Experience in imports would be a plus.

Salary: Rs50,000.00 - Rs70,000.00 per month
