THE ROLE

Our client is looking for a Business Travel Consultant to join their team.

Business Travel Consultant key responsibilities:

  • Manage customer requirements from initial enquiry to completed travel.
  • Offer professional consultancy services to clients.
  • Maintain flexibility in different priorities and clients.
  • Conduct business with a Consultative Sales approach.
  • Monitor and address airline queue messages and existing bookings that are on hold.
  • Achieve and maintain SLAs and targets.
  • Attend weekly team updates, participate and share feedback as required.
  • Engage in team activities and offer support to fellow team members when required.
  • Assist clients who may be trying to reach a busy team members, ensuring their needs are address promptly.
  • Manage personal productivity, profitability, and quality assurance targets.
  • Adhere to monthly booking checks and accurately record ticket book entries.
  • Regularly update knowledge on airline contracts, routings and services.
  • Attend training to develop knowledge of airlines, fares, services, products and benefits.

THE PERSON

Business Travel Consultant skills, qualifications and experience:

  • Extensive GDS experience.
  • Passion and experience in business travel.
  • Previous experience communicating with clients via phone, email, web chats and social media.
  • Previous experience with ticketing changes and cancellations is desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

This opportunity is fully remote, full time and part time positions available. Paying up to £24k pa for full time (pro-rata part time, minimum 20 hours per week).
