For complete informations about this position opportunity please read the description below. An opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Sister/Charge Nurse to join us based on GMDU. This area is a recently created medical day unit admitting patients undergoing elective procedures from across the medical division. Proced ures include Lumbar Puncture, Paracentesis, liver biopsy, IVABX, blood transfusions as well as many more. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in this unit as it continues to grow, expanding the range of patients coming to the area
As post holder you will:
- be responsible for promoting and implementing practice conducive to the development of high quality patient care by providing professional, clinical and managerial leadership.
- need to be committed to the change process occurring in the area. Your responsibilities will include team leadership, teaching and day to day management of the area.
Hours of work : Full time -37.50 hours per week, to include days, nights & weekendsÂ
