Practice and Wellbeing Nurse City of London, EC2R 8AH Part-time, Perm (12 hours per week to include Monday, Tuesday and Friday afternoons) £32 - 37,500 Pro Rata We are looking to recruit a Practice and Wellbeing Nurse to our team in London the role will deliver clinical and wellbeing services to our corporate clients' employees, at the medical centre on site.   As a Practice and Wellbeing Nurse you will provide nurse consultations to employees. 
Consultations will cover a range of conditions and you will be proficient in phlebotomy/venepuncture and travel & vaccination advice.
This role will work with the wider teams in the corporate HR function, Health & Safety and other Nuffield Health colleagues both clinical and operational and you will help to promote employee wellbeing initiatives.
You will be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and have experience as a Practice Nurse and/or A&E setting and have an understanding of Occupational Health and employee welfare.
The successful candidate will be 1st level RGN and registered with the NMC.

Duties and Responsibilities

Clinical

• Maintain a clinical caseload maintaining a high standard of clinical and professional competence
• Provide effective communication with other clinical colleagues within the Nuffield, and third parties
• Have high standards of clinical care and treatment at all times
• Keep up-to-date clinical skills and be able to provide evidence of CPD
• To comply with current treatments protocols, and actively be involved in the review & development of protocols and care pathways
• To work within strict guidelines regarding Infection control, HSE and RIDDOR
• Maintenance of clinical stock and servicing of onsite equipment
• Ensuring the confidentiality of patient records and health information in line with the Access to Medical Records Act 1988
• Management and follow up of onsite incidents if required

Non Clinical 

• To participate in the clinical governance, audits, quality assurance, and best practice activities
• Contribute to the development and updating of policies and procedures, clinical & non-clinical
• Develop, implement and monitor nursing policies and provision of primary care
• Participate in regular meetings with various stakeholders, including HR, Health & Safety, occupational health, and local hospitals
• To act as a role model for the other clinical professionals within Nuffield Health
• Provide monthly statistics in relation to activities within the medical area
• Competent and confident IT user – intermediate skills in Word and Excel
• Ability to prioritise and deal with a varied workload in an effective and timely manner
