I am currently recruiting for one of Britain’s largest private healthcare providers. They provide healthcare services in over 200 locations, and want an enthusiastic and experienced Scrub Nurse to work in their hospital based in Oxford.

As a Scrub Nurse you’ll be a key figure in the theatre team, where the hospital offers a wide variety of cases which will broaden your skills and experience. The hospital specialise in complex procedures and are looking for a scrub nurse that is keen to learn, and ready to be part of the ongoing development of the hospital!

General Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support junior staff in the delivery of care
- Deliver high quality patient care
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care as part of a collaborative programme of patient care.
- Undertake delegated responsibility for senior staff during short periods of absence
- To report clinical incidents and complete all associated documentation as required.
- Be able to function competently as a circulating and scrub nurse
- NMC/ HPC registered
- Significant Scrub experience
- Advanced Life Support desirable
- Good knowledge of most aspects of surgery and surgical procedures
- Proactive and Enthusiastic with developing professional skills
