This successful and well established school invites qualified nurses to apply for the post of school nurse. You will be the sole! nurse heading up the medical room in this newly created position.
This nursing role will be working full time school hours and term time only - That means lots of holidays!!
This is a permanent position to start at the commencement of the new school year in January 2014.
This school is based in Walthamstow, has good results year to year and has a great community feel and a very supportive and well functioning staff.
You must be a qualified nurse - ideally with recent experience as a paediatric nurse or school nurse, working either directly or indirectly for a school (i.e through the NHS)
You will be in charge of all medical needs within the school and responsible for all essential administration.
You ideally will have the ability to be self motivated and enthusiastic to make the medical room your own and ensure it is a very well administered and run faculty within the school.
You will definitely enjoy working w! ith young people and provide a caring and empathetic figure wi! thin the school as well as being able to be firm and loving at the same time.
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and safety of young people. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced criminal records check (DBS).
