Our clien! t provides hospital services to a large and diverse population of more than 450,000 which includes Ascot, Bracknell, Maidenhead, Slough, south Buckinghamshire and Windsor.
You will be working in 2 hospitals within the Trust. One Hospital provides a range of services including general medicine and its sub-specialties, paediatrics, general surgery, vascular surgery, urology, orthopaedics, obstetrics and gynaecology, otolaryngology, oral surgery and a sub-regional plastic surgery unit.
Second Hospital offers both inpatient and outpatient services.
You will be responsible for:
- Care of young patients in either medical or surgical wards
- Carrying out typical nursing activities, such as monitoring temperature, pulse, breathing and blood pressure and recording accurate results at regular intervals
- Providing prescribed medication through oral or intravenous methods, administering fluids, helping doctors with tests and patient exa! minations, and prepping patients for surgical procedures !
- NMC Qualified
- Currently working in acute settings within the last 6 months
- Up to date with your immunisations (Hep B, Measles, Rubella, Varicella and Tuberculosis)
- Able to work in a busy, multidisciplinary team but can also use initiative where required
- Have right to work in the UK
- Working flexible hours (days, nights, weekends)
