The hospital we recruting for sees 200,000 patient visits each year across a range of specialties including oncology, haematology, bone marrow transplant, burns, genetics, and orthopaedics. You will be working full time or part time and flexible hours (days, nights or weekends).
You will be responsible for:
- Care of young patients in either medical or surgical wards
- Carrying out typical nursing activities, such as monitoring temperature, pulse, breathing and blood pressure and recording accurate results at regular intervals
- Providing prescribed medication through oral or intravenous methods, administering fluids, helping doctors with tests and patient examinations, and prepping patients for surgical procedures
- NMC Qualified
- Currently working ! in acute settings within the last 6 months
- Up to date with your immunisations (Hep B, Measles, Rubella, Varicella and Tuberculosis)
- Able to work in a busy, multidisciplinary team but can also use initiative where required
- Have right to work in the UK
- Working flexible hours (days, nights, weekends)
