Aboutmesupport are recruiting for an experienced RGN/RMN to work within a large 100 bed nursing & residential Home in the Manchester.
This role will be working a nightshift on a 50 bed split unit comp! rising residential and nursing patience.
You will work as part of a team to provide and maintain professional standards in accordance with the principles of care as set out in the guidelines of the UK NMC
Responsibilities:
- To have up-to-date evidence based clinical knowledge in relation to Client groups cared for within the Home
- To be able to communicate at appropriate levels with all Residents, Staff, other Professionals and outside Agencies involved in the care of the Clients
- Valid NMC PIN
- To be an effective team leader and role model.
- To have the knowledge to make research based decisions regarding nursing care needs.
- To have a flexible approach to working hours.
- To be committed to teaching and facilitating learning for unqualified Care Staff.
- To be able at all times to audit the care delivered to Clients ensuring that all their needs are met.
- To carry out such duties! , including management of the unit, as deemed necessary by the! Home Manager, in order to ensure the smooth running of the Home.
- To keep the Home Manager informed of any changes in the need for resources
