Description: TPP NOT FOR PROFIT is in need of Community Alcohol Nurse Prescriber right now, this position will be placed in England. TPP's client is specialist alcohol misuse charity providing services to residents experiencing alcohol related problems in a North London Borough. The charity is seeking a motivated, compas! sionate and committed Band 7 Community Alcohol Nurse Prescriber to join their community team.

As the Community Alcohol Nurse Prescriber you will:

• deliver alcohol treatment drug prescribing to service users in the community
• assess and support the needs of service users in the community
• monitor service users providing mentoring and recommendations for change
• establish and run community clinics
• promote good health in the community
• conduct risk assessments.

To apply for this post you must be a Registered Mental Nurse (RMN) with a valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) PIN and possess the appropriate qualifications to be a nurse prescriber. You must also be either a Band 7 or a highly experienced Band 6 Nurse. Experience of supervising and/or providing line management to other nursing staff is also strongly desirable. Ideally you will in addition have experience of managing adults during reha! bilitation in the community.
