Home Care Worker, Hertfordshire: Our client is an award winning home care business and they believe they are the highest paying care agency i! n Hertfordshire. They are recruiting for Home Care Workers in Hatfield, Welwyn, St Albans, Harpenden, Potters Bar and Hertford.
Our client is a fast growing organisation with a reputation for excellence which is second to none. They are owned by qualified Psychiatric Nurses with many years of experience in caring for vulnerable adults, especially elderly clients and adult mental health. They run an extremely high standard of client centred service focusing on client needs and satisfaction but just as important is the care and training of their Care Workers.
The role
Our client is a domiciliary home care provider and so you will be driving your own car to visit clients in their own home. It is essential that you have enthusiasm, commitment, loyalty and high standards to mirror the company’s excellence in home care provision.
As Home Care Worker you would share with other care staff in meeting the personal care and domestic needs of clients in! a way that respects the client and promotes their independenc! e. These clients want to remain living in their own homes and your job is to support them in doing so.
To apply for the role of Home Care Worker you must:
- Live within a 10 mile radius of the Hertfordshire territory
- Have a full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle
- Be compassionate and caring towards other people
- Display excellent communication skills
- Have good written and spoken English
To be a Home Care Worker you must possess the following qualities:
- Self-motivation
- Well organised
- Flexible
- Caring and sensitive to the needs of others
- With the ability to use your own initiative
- Able to communicate effectively
Although experience is preferred, our client is willing to train and supervise all candidates that show they have what it takes to be a professional care and support worker.

As Home Care Worker you will be on zero contract hours and must be available between either 7am to 2pm or 4pm to 10pm. The rates of pay are £9.00 per hour for weekdays and £10.00 per hour on weekends.
Important
Candidates will need to pay for their own CRB checks but this will be refunded by Caremark after 6 months of employment.
