Sussex Community NHS Trust is the main provider of NHS community health services across West Sussex and Brighton & Hove. We provide ! a wide range of medical, nursing and therapeutic care to over 9,000 people a day thorough a widely dispersed workforce of 4,500. The Trust is aiming to achieve Foundation Trust status by April 2014.

As part of this vision we are now seeking an exceptional Director of Transformation & Commercial Development to lead us through the transformation of the organisation as an aspirant Community Foundation Trust and deliver our transformation agenda.
In addition to co-ordinating the process to achieve and maintain Foundation Trust status, the post holder will lead delivery of the QIPP (Quality, Innovation, Productivity and Prevention) programme, including management of key change progr! ammes. This role reports to the Chief Executive.
We a! re looking for an ambitious and resilient individual with strategic and operational flair to join an organisation where they will really be able to make a difference. The successful candidate will have a strong track record at a senior level within the NHS or an organisation of comparable scale and complexity.
They will have extensive senior experience and a demonstrable track record of delivery of transformational change and relationship building. An ability to develop pragmatic and business focused solutions in an increasingly competitive environment is also essential.
