Job Position: Test Engineer
Job Status: Permanent
Function: Our Client is seeking to recruit a Test Engineer to work within its very busy Production Department. The purpose of the role is to carry out efficient day-to-day testing of production built ultrasonic cleaners and washer disinfectors.
Initial Duties:
- Test, Repair & Inspect machines within HTM2030 and company guidelines.
- Test/Validate software before release into production.
- Provid! e training where necessary.
- Ensure quality system req! uirements are met & maintained.
- Report any non-conformances.
- Report any faults to establish failure trends.
- Ability to fault find down to component level.
- Maintain a professional, clean, well kept image.
- Ensure machines are not left around without work instructions/route cards.
- Be responsible for your own tools, toolbox and test equipment, ensuring they are stored in a safe environment.
- Ensure all test equipment used is undamaged and within calibration date.
- Ensure that all Health & Safety guidelines are adhered to.
- Ensure you are gainfully employed at all times.
- Suggest improvements in both design and functionality for all current production machines.
- Flexibility: any other duties that may be requested from time to time to ensure the smooth running of the company.
- Good knowledge in electronics, plumbing and mech! anical assembly with some knowledge in pneumatics.
- A Strong completer finisher.
- Strong Communication Skills.
- Self Motivated with positive outlook.
- Reliable & Diligent team member.
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
- Word and Excel to a competent level.
- Working conditions are normal for a production test environment.
- Work involves frequent visual display screen and manual handling.
Hourly Rate: Up to £25,000
