Our client is a major provider of independent healthcare based in Manchester; we are seeking an experienced and motivated Staff Nurse to join their busy inpatient ! Oncology Unit.
This is a full time post, but we are equally interested in hearing from nurses who may be interested in a part-time or flexible hours opportunity.
Treating the full range of Oncology specialities and this hospital works with the elite of UK’s most experienced consultant Oncologists and other healthcare specialists.
Supported by state-of-the-art equipment this centre of excellent offers a high standard of Oncology nursing care, within pleasant and comfortable surroundings.
Duties of the post
To assess, plan, deliver and evaluate high standards of nursing care.
To work within a team, supervising and directing junior staff and deputising for Senior Staff Nurse in their absence.
Experience in supervising students and healthcare assistants, and assisting in the orientation of new staff.
Person requirements
Registered Nurse with full NMC registration (not requiring a period of superv! ised placement)
One years experience in an Oncology s! etting
Phlebotomy / IV/ Chemotherapy experience
Permission to undertake employment in the UK (not requiring ‘work-permit’ sponsorship)
