Description: Merco Recruitment is currently seeking to employ RGN's and Paramedics wanted for 111 Clinical Nurse Advisor roles, Norw right now, this career will be placed in England. We are working with an NHS Trust in the East of England to find and train Clinical Nurse Advisors for thei! r NHS 111 service in Norwich. If you are a locum RGN or Paramedic (Band 5 or 6) that wants well paid on: going locum work (for around 6 months) then this opportunity is ideal for you. After paid training you can choose from day, evening, night and weekend shifts.

NHS 111 is a new telephone service that's being introduced to make it easier for patients to access local NHS healthcare services. It is intended for when people need medical help fast but it's not a 999 emergency. NHS 111 will eventually replace NHS Direct.
You will be working as a Clinical Advisor at the 111 Contact Centre in Norwich. Full paid training will be provided on the new 111 Pathways. As a Clinical Advisor you will carry out clinical triage, over the telephone, providing assessment, advice and information.

After the paid training you will be able to choose from day, evening and night shifts : on a full or part time basis. You will work off a 4 week rota and will have the opportunit! y to do overtime.

To be considered:

You will need to be available for around 6 months locum work
• You will need min. 1 years recent RGN/Para experience in the UK
• You will need to have excellent written and verbal English language skills
• You will need to be IT literate
• You will need current NMC/HCPC registration

Interviews are taking place in April, in Norwich. Training will commence end April/ early May. Hourly pay is up to GBP25 per hour and you will be paid weekly. This is a great opportunity for long term locum work in Norwich.
