The Sales Specialists role involves creating the need for and selling technical products for neurosurgical treatment of various life threatening conditions, including tumour, vascular and hydrocephalus conditions. Key contacts will be neurosurgeons and allied professionals, plus procurement and business managers. The product mix is around 80% consumable, 20% capital. The key growth area is within hydrocephalus shunts where the business will continue to grow in 2013. Candidates should be able to present both technical/clinical solutions and financial/business proposals and be confident in a c! linical environment, especially the operating theatre. As a ta! rgeted sales role the Sales Specialist will be responsible for delivering revenue in line with company expectations from the 12-13 key Neuro centres within South East England. Other products include cranial fixation, neuro surgery instruments and allied consumables.
Applicant
- Applicants will be working as a Territory Manager / Sales Representative / Account Manager / Business Development Manager within the medical sales (MEDTECH) sector.
- Applicants will display a number of years successful sales achievement within the medtech sector - ideally within the procedural / surgical theatre setting.
- Applicants with Neuro / Spinal experience will be of particular interest
- Applicants will have good clinical and commercial skills.
- The role requires a high quality sales professional with a flair for influencing senior contacts.
