Durham DH8 6QYContracted Weekly Hours : 38.5Stanhope neurodisability centre has 24 beds providin! g both nursing and residential care for clients aged 18-65 who have complex neurological conditions. We have 30 employees who work in harmony to deliver a high standard of care to our clients. Our staff and clients provide a warm and friendly environment in which we live and work.

Stanhope is situatedin a semi rural location with panoramic views of the beautiful derwent valley. We are one mile from the nearest town which is consett and public transport is limited and the use of a car is recommended.As a Registered Nurse you will work closely with the Centre Manager and deputise in their absence.
You will be responsible for carrying out general nursing responsibilities including the overall well being of the residents and assisting with the formulation and implementatio! n of the delivery of excellent standards of care; promoting in! dependence and dignity and positively enhancing the lives of individuals in our care. So as a Registered Nurse what do you need to do to make this happen?Support the Deputy Nurse Manager and Registered Manager with the day to day nursing responsibilities Carry out ongoing assessments to determine individual needs and assist with the formulation of personal care plans Work Closely with the residents to promote greater independence and encourage a wide range of activities Ensure high standards of personal health hygiene.
