  • Location: Griffith
  • Package includes salary $116,211- $128,061, employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.

As a Group Leader you will have the opportunity to utilise your leadership skills and facilities management experience to support the implementation of minor capital works and facilities maintenance programs in Southern NSW schools. You will be working on process improvements and building strong relationships with multiple stakeholders as a valuable member of the Asset Management Unit.

About the role

Provide a full range of asset services to a group of schools within the assigned area of the regional Asset Management Unit (AMU), including the implementation of facilities management programs and maintenance works, to support high-quality, professional service delivery.


Essential requirements of the role

  • Current and valid Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel across the assigned AMU area.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education

Key knowledge and experience

  • Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

Provide an example where you have led and managed a team in the delivery of a significant program of works. How did you ensure individual project delivery targets were met? How did you ensure the team achieved consistent quality service outcomes? (300 words maximum)

Targeted Question 2

  • The role is responsible for managing a team. Please provide demonstrated evidence of how you lead staff to success, highlighting the challenges you encountered. (300 words maximum)

Note: the selection process will include a range of assessment techniques to assist in determining your suitability for the role. Successful candidates will be required to undertake pre-employment screening for this role which includes a National Criminal History Check.
