The Service -
Our client provides specialist Mental Health services for both Adults and Adolescents within a range of services. These include Acute, PICU, CAMHS and Eating Diso! rders.
You must have in depth knowledge of current legisla! tion, good working practices and be able to successfully manage a care team. You should have an understanding of person centred care. Job description and requirements -
- As a Registered Mental Health Nurse RMN to work as part of the Multi â€" disciplinary team
- At least 2 yeards post registration experience
- Monitor and evaluate individual care plans
- You will provide leadership and support to the care team to ensure delivery of the highest level of care in accordance with company policies and all statutory regulatory requirements.
- To communicate within the multi disciplinary team, patients, relatives, advocates and external agencies and participate as required in any relevant meetings.
- To comply with all NMC codes and standards.
- To maintain professional registration and undertake continuing profess! ional development.
- You are expected to communicate effectively with the patients, their families, friends and visitors, advocates, external agencies and actively participate in meetings as required.
Desirable Requirements:
- Supervising staff within a similar environment.
- Working with people with complex conditions and who display challenging behaviour
- Developing staffing rotas in line with care needs
Ability to:
- Work on own initiative as well as part of a team
- Work under pressure
- Manage own time effectively
- Organise and prioritise tasks effectively
- Prepare and produce relevant and accurate reports
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient, company and staff information
- Knowledge and Understanding of:
- The Mental Health Act 1983 as amended 2007
