The Priory Ticehurst House is an independent hospital specialising in the management and treatment of individuals with men! tal health problems. The hospital has residential facilities for 69 patients, as well as offering outpatients’ services. Our highly experienced team includes consultant psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, nurses and support staff.
The adolescent service consists of a general adolescent unit and a High dependency unit.
We are looking for a Charge Nurse to work on our general adolescent unit. The unit is a 12 bed unit and you will be a key member of the nursing team to ensure high standards of care are delivered.
You will have experience as an RMN of working within an inpatient adolescent setting, being a primary nurse, managing risk and providing supervision to your nursing colleagues.
You will be able to demonstrate an understanding of working and engaging with young people through an acute mental health phase towards discharge and their recovery as well as working and liaising with families and external community teams.
Own transport is req! uired due to our rural location.
