Ou! r client provides patient-focussed healthcare products and supply chain services to the NHS, is looking for an Account Manager with procurement experience to join their team. They manage the procurement and delivery of over 600,000 products ranging from bandages to baked beans, from gloves to implants and diagnostic equipment.
As a Senior Account Manager you will be responsible for the whole portfolio of products selling to our client’s major accounts. Selling a service or solution into the NHS - procuring products in bulk at the best price available in order to deliver the savings direct to the NHS, you will play as the middle man between the suppliers and the NHS offering a number of contracts for the same products while remaining neutral and impartial.
In order to be considered for this opportunity you must have procurement experience along with at least 5 years experience of consultative selling in high value accounts. Good understanding and good con! nections in Hospital Procurement and experience with contracts! /tenders will take you a long way in this position.
In return the company is offering up £50k basic salary, plus 50% bonus + car allowance and private pension.
