We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Staff Nurse/Junior Sister-Charge Nurse to join our client`s busy Level 3 General In! tensive Care Unit based at their major hospital site in Central London.
Treating the full range of Acute Medical & Surgical patients, this centre of excellence engages with the elite of London`s most experienced Medical Consultants and other healthcare specialists within Critical Care.
Supported by state-of-the-art equipment this hospital offers a high standard of care, within pleasant and comfortable surroundings.
Core Duties of the post
You will be able to assess, prioritise, implement and evaluate the care needs of ventilated level 3 Critical Care patients unsupervised as essential.
You are an expert practitioner and clinical resource in Critical Care Nursing and you will be able to support and educate members of the MDT.
You will be able to supervise, direct and mentor Staff Nurses; healthcare assistants and student nurses
Deputise for Sister/Charge Nurse in their absence.
Assist Medical Staff with invasive and non-invasive proc! edures

Person requirements
Registered Nurse with full NMC registration (not requiring a period of supervised placement)
Minimum of two years post registration experience in Critical Care nursing.
In possession of, or working towards completion of a recognised post-graduate qualification in Critical Care and/or completion of a Mentorship qualification.
Permission to undertake employment in the UK (not requiring `work-permit` sponsorship)
