The Woodbourne Priory Hospital is a 38-bed acute psychiatric hospital for adults and adolescents, based in Edgbas! ton Birmingham, offering a wide range of care to our varied client base of inpatient, outpatient and day patients.
We are looking to recruit a highly motivated and committed Deputy Ward Manager to work alongside our Ward Manager on our Adolescent Unit at our Hospital in Edgbaston, Birmingham.
This is an exciting and unique opportunity for personal development and to work with a talented multidisciplinary team to further develop our specialist services. Our therapy department provides high quality programmes using a diverse range of therapeutic interventions, and works closely with the nursing team to ensure a tailored programme is offered to all patients.
You will take an active role in managing the ward under supervision of the Ward Manager, and take charge in their absence. You will also have proven leadership skills along with a strong drive to develop yourself and the dedicated nursing team. You will directly participate in patient care offer a high sta! ndard of both customer and patient care.
