We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sister/Charge Nurse to join our client's busy General Level 3 ITU based at their major hospital site! in Central London. Treating the full range of Medical & Surgical patients, this centre of excellence engages with the elite of London's most experienced Medical Consultants and other healthcare specialists within this highly specialised area of Critical Care. Supported by state-of-the-art equipment this hospital offers a high standard of care, within pleasant and comfortable surroundings. Core Duties of the post Reporting directly to the ITU Manager, deputising in their absence as required.
Taking charge of the ITU Department on the majority of shifts; leading a team of Staff Nurses; Healthcare Assistants and Student Nurses. To independently demonstrate effective evaluation of nursing interventions and initiating of newly planned care accordingly You are an expert practitioner and clinical resource in Critical Care Nursing and you will be able to support and educate members of the MDT. Person requirements Registere! d Nurse with full NMC registration (not requiring a period of ! supervised placement) Minimum of four years post registration experience in level 3 Critical Care nursing with at least one year at Senior Staff Nurse level.
Completion of a recognised post-graduate qualification in Critical Care. Completion of a Mentorship qualification.
