This post is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated Senior Clinical Research Fellow to work under the supervision of the Head of Section, Professor Sebastian Johnston, within a multidisciplinary team focusing on mechanisms of asthma and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).
This post will specifically provide direct support and help to Professor Sebastian Johnston on a day to day basis on all clinical research studies or clinical trials being undertaken within the Airway Disease Infection section, with a particular focus on studyin! g the role of virus infections in exacerbations of asthma.
Candidates must have a medical degree with MRCP as well as a PhD and experience in managing patients with respiratory diseases.
This post is full-time, fixed-term for one year with the possibility of further extension, and based at the St MaryÂ's campus. This post commences 1 November 2013.
