Vacancy: Part Time Nurse (RGN) Sexual Health / Family Planning Sector: Private Sector - Sexual Health / Family Planning Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire Ho! urs: Maternity contract Salary: 15,943.78 plus excellent company benefits Client Information: Our client is a leading sexual health / family planning provider with clinics operating throughout the UK and Overseas. The types of services they offer are: Family Planning, Sexual Health / HIV testing, Contraception advice, safe abortion and post abortion care. Role: We are looking for a pro-active Nurse the Leeds clinic on a 21 hour per week contract. Ideally our client would be looking for a Nurse to work 7.5 hours on Monday and Thursday and the remainder of the hours to be worked on a Tuesday or Friday depending on availability.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, healthcare assistants and administrators, you will be providing excellent clinical care and guidance to clients at all times offering services which include, contraception, emergency contraception, pregnancy testing, unplanned pregnancy consultations, early medical abortion, abort! ion, vasectomy, STI testing and treatment, cervical screening,! blood testing and ultrasound scanning (training provided). Ideally you will have: Worked within a Nurse led environment Have a keen interest or experience in gynaecology/sexual and reproductive healthcare Post-reg experience of working in a fast paced, high activity environment to time-slotted appointments. Such as A&E, theatre, acute, labour ward, outpatients or as a practice nurse Proven ability to manage and prioritise own workload and patient case load under minimal supervision Passion for working with people In addition you will have the ability to work within a challenging and varied environment coupled with the skills to work independently and support other team members during peak times. Passion for and dedication to the role is essential in order to build excellent rapport and client trust.
