I am a gentleman with ! Motor Neurone Disease living in the Swinton area of Salford. I’m looking for a team of staff to enable me to live independently in my own home. As well as undertaking all the other duties, my Senior Personal Assistant will have responsibility for drawing up staff rotas and supporting me with staff management on occasions. I am unable to communicate verbally, so require all my staff to be patient and attentive. A good sense of humour is required also! This is an exciting opportunity and will be a very rewarding job.
Summary of duties:
Duties to include:
Drawing up rotas and occasional staff management (Senior role only)
Moving and handling
Personal care
Attending medical appointments
Meal preparation and assistance at meal times
Domestic duties including cleaning; laundry; shopping and assistance with household bills
Accessing community
Assisting with communication

Willing to undertake training from MND Specialist Nurses

Times Required:
2 members of staff will be working at all times. I need support at breakfast, lunch, teatime and bedtime. With additional support required for attending appointments; domestic duties and accessing the community. Support is required 7 days a week. Hours of work to be agreed.
