This Children's Centre based in South Barnet is looking for their next EYFS team member for their Nursery Class. This is a full-time 3 month role. Although this role is short term it is a great way to gain additional new skills and earn money while doing it! This would suit someone who is currently un-employed but has recent Nursery Nurse experience.
The Centre Manager has created a bright and welcoming environment here and makes clever use of the space. Offering many different services you will get the opportunity to extend your skills. You will need to be able to work with dedication and initiative and be able to lead your with key children as well as on a one to one basis.
This is a great opportunity for someone who has the experience and en! thusiasm it takes to engage the children and build a rapport n! ot only with them but also with their parents/carers. The centre has excellent facilities for the local community to access and is a great place to work. There is a lovely staff room which gives you great opportunity to enjoy your break but also get to know the Outreach workers, Teachers and other Nursery Nurses. There is ample parking locally if you drive to work and there is also a station nearby and buses to the Centre.
You must be someone who can come in and flourish and make an instant difference. They operate a shift system so you will need to be flexible to work 7.45am to 3.45pm, 8.30am to 4:15pm, 10.30am to 6.15pm.
You will use your planning and observation skills to write reports writing for the children. You will work closely with the class teacher and other staff to plan each week and ensure each day runs smoothly.
