Further informations about this position opportunity please read the description below. A Senior Nursery Nurse is urgently required to work in a fantastic setting based in the Grays area of Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly experienced and fully qualified Room Leader or Senior Nursery Nurse who is looking for a career boost. You will be working for a well-established company in a nursery which has been well regarded by parents and professionals alike. You will be highly experienced within a senior, preferably Room Leaders, role as you will be required to step up when the deputy is absent from the nursery and will be managing two rooms.
The nursery is very large and very busy so it is essential you have the skills and experience along with the confidence which comes from working in a large setting. You will be fluent on the EYFS (plus awareness of new EYFS) and experienced in managing staff while also highly skilled in providing a good level of care and education for children under 5, including planning activities and building positive relationships with parents. This is a demanding role, which will be a welcome challenge to an experienced Room Leader. Some of your responsibilities as a Room leader will include: To ensure the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment To lead your team in order for them to plan, prepare and review the curriculum as a team reflective of the EYFS To work in partnership with the parents To follow and implement all the policies and procedures set out by the nursery To be able and willing to assume Third in Charge or Deputy manager responsibility when required.
You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience: Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent Have a wealth of experience of working with children Working knowledge of the EYFS Experience in management of staff Excellent rates of pay, bonuses and benefits with ongoing support and career development.
