About the role
We are seeking pro-active and dedicated Nurses with a passion for gynaecology/sexual and reproductive healthcare to join our Nurse bank working across Norfolk. As part of a mobile team you will cover our Norwich, Thetford and King's Lynn centres.
As a Nurse at Marie Stopes, you will work in a busy and fast-paced environment. Day-to-day, you will provide excellent clinical care and guidance to our clients, offering services such as contraception, pregnancy testing, ultrasound scanning (training provided), unplanned pregnancy consultations, abortion, vasectomy, STI testing and treatment and cervical screening.
Opening times vary, but our centres are open between Monday and Saturday. Shift patterns are variable with starts as early as 07:30, and finishing at 17:30.
About you
This is a challenging role and to be successful, first and foremost you must be passionate about sexual and reproductive healthcare and provi! ding excellent care to the women and men who visit Marie Stope! s International. In addition to this, you will have:
worked within a Nurse led environment
post-registration experience of working in a fast paced, high activity environment to time-slotted appointments i.e. A&E, theatre, acute, labour ward, outpatients or work experience as a practise nurse
a proven ability to manage and prioritise own workload and patient case load under minimal supervision
excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
the ability to work in a close team and enjoy supporting colleagues
flexibility to work in various locations across the Region
