The Junction Health Centre is a new state-of-the-art NHS Walk-in Centre and GP Practice located in Battersea. The Junction Health Centre is situated in Arches 5-7 at Clapham Junction Station from the Grant Road exit.
Provided in addition to the existing healthcare services in Battersea, the Centre offers services for registered and unregistered patients, from 8am to 8pm, seven days a week. Services include treatment for minor illnesses and injuries. Patients have the choice of remaining registered with their local GP, but using the centre's walk-in services when their own practice is closed.

Key Responsibilities
To assist in the delivery of nursing care to patients attending the Wandsworth Health Centre. The role requires you to fu! nction autonomously and within your sphere of competency, whil! st being a support and resource to less experienced members of staff. You must be able to assess patients, carry out relevant tests, and arrange follow-up whilst offering advice and information. You must be able to demonstrate critical thinking skills in clinical decision making. The Wandsworth Health Centre is a clinical facility which requires in individual to have the ability to work effectively as part of a multi professional team within a fast pace environment, in line with the protocols and policies of the local Service and Care UK.
Skills & Experience
1st level Registered Nurse with current registration with the UK Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC). Minimum 2 yrs post registration.
Evidence of Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
Post registration qualification in practice nursing or equivalent
Proven post registration experience including evidence of working in any of these following clinical areas;
Primary C! are environments
General Practice
Acute specialities
Experience of working autonomously
Evidence of team leadership and supervision of junior staff
Evidence of teaching and assessing others
