It is essential that you have qualified as a ! Best Interests Assessor from a Department of Health approved course and you will be either an:
1. Approved Mental Health Professional, or a
2. Social Worker registered with the General Social Care Council, or a
3. Registered first level Nurse, or a
4. Registered Occupational Therapist, or a
5. Chartered Psychologist
And you must be registered with the relevant professional body.
This post is only open to people already qualified as BIAs.
