The Surgery Directorate currently has vacancies on several of the surgical wards it consists of:
Oxford Upper Gastrointestinal Centre (OUGIC), Oxford Colorectal Centre, Jane Ashley Centre and Surgical Emergency Unit and E ward at the Horton.

We are looking to recruit ! Registered Nurses and Student Nurses to our surgical directora! te who have acute hospital nursing experience within the last 6 months.
The wards are fast paced but the environment is friendly and supportive. It would be an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified nurse to gain a wide range of experience looking after acute surgical patients and gain ward surgical nursing expertise whilst being nurtured by experienced senior nurses.
We offer an initial orientation programme and ongoing opportunities to undertake a variety of university courses and opportunities to attend national and international conferences.

You will need to be a forward thinking, motivated professional nurse who is committed to providing a high standard of holistic care and can demonstrate a caring commitment to working in partnership with patients and their families.

Rotational posts through all of the surgical wards would be available if interested. There are also opportunities for short term contracts and/or annualized hours. Within all our units, internal rotation to night duty is expected.
