It is essential that you have either of the following qualifications:
- NVQ3.
- NNEB .
- ! CACHE Level 3
- Being able to work 1:1 as well as small groups/ taking the responsibility as a key worker.
- Ensure good practice is demonstrated across all areas of a Nursery.
- Communicating with all parents and liaising with other staff.
- Taking Observations/Reports.
- Plan activities in order for children to stay entertained and to help within the team.
- Monitoring children’s safety and hygiene on a daily basis.
- Be confident to take charge of any behavioural issues.
- Strive to ensure that each child is happy, well cared for and supported as they grow and learn.
- Able to deal with new challenges and experiences and is able to adapt to everyday situations.
- Being creative and imaginative.
- Be prepared to move around into different rooms and adapting to change.
