Hendre Moolman is recruiting for an Interim Drug Safety Associate to join a company in the! pharmaceutical industry on a 10 month fixed term contact role in Hertfordshire.

Main purpose of the job is to process adverse event reports to a high quality and within required timeframes and support reconciliation activities.

Further responsibilities of Interim Drug Safety Associate position will include:

• Reporting to the Head of Pharmacovigilance Operations, the Drug Safety Associate will work closely with members of the PV Department and global safety community including Clinical Operations and third parties
• Supporting the reconciliation of the safety database and other databases
• Running listings for reconciliation and resolving data queries for reconciliation including updating the ArisG database
• Ensuring correct and accurate input of source data onto the global safety database (ArisG).
• Performing QC of case reports
• Performing follow-up activities for Pharmacovigilance Reports
• Ensurin! g that such activities are performed to high standards of qual! ity and timeliness in line with the best industry standards
• Compliance to SOP's, processes, practices and guidelines and aiming towards excellence

As Interim Drug Safety Associate you will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

• Graduate level education preferred (life science, pharmacy or nursing would be an advantage) or strong prior experience of data entry / data management
• Experience in pharmacovigilance would be an advantage
• Possess a strong sense of responsibility
• Ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines
• Flexibility, adaptability and pro-activity are key requirements for the position.
• Excellent communications skills and good team player
• Able to form strong cross-functional relationships.
• Flexible and Proactive
• Eye for detail and Organised
